4.3 General Purpose Timer/Counter Register

One 16-bit, general-purpose timer/counter exists in the 9116 series card.

Writing to this register loads the initial count value into the general-purpose

timer/counter. Reading from this register feedbacks the current count value of

the general-purpose timer/counter
